Roll top desk

I've had this oak roll top desk for about 25 years. It's missing the lock to the roll top. While looking for a lock everybody ask what make it is. I found a sticker inside the center drawer that says Standard Furniture Co. Anybody know how old it is and where I can get a lock for it? It locks on the sides and the arms are still there. Just missing the lock.

Please put in an appraisal

Please put in an appraisal by clicking on "Get a Free Appraisal" at the top of every page.  That way you can get the valuation and history of your item for free.

I am a locksmith.  Can you send me a picture of where the lock goes and where the lock would connect to the arms.  Pictures of the ends of the arms where the lock connets, and the hole where the lock was, even where the arms engage the cabinet.  Both inside and outside and close ups please.  Perhaps I can help you lock it again.  Email me at dnadzieja@aol.com.
