Klopstock Bros furniture

Does anyone know anything about the San Francisco manufacturing company, Klopstock Bros? All I've been able to confirm is that they were in business in 1914 or 1915 and were still operating in 1921, but after that I hit a dead end. I have a really cool library table bearing their name, and I'd like to know more about the company and my table's history.

Seneca Chautauqua Camera

Submitted by Anney111 on Thu, 07/24/2008 - 08:15.
  • Antique & Collectible Talk

Hi,

I have a seneca Chautauqua camera with and UNO shutter and was curious how much it's worth. It's my great grandfather's from 1900-1905. (Somewhere around there). I have the camera itself, the flashcloth/plate box, the wooden tripod, and a box full of plate negatives. Somewhere there is a picture of my great grandfather with the camera which helps in authentification. Any leads on the collections' valuability?

Found at yard sale Maserati...

Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, 06/13/2008 - 09:59.
  • Antique & Collectible Talk

While shopping at a yard sale my father found block and tackle style pulley. On the both sides of the hard wood body are metal inlays with the Maserati Trident logo. On the base of the Trident Are the letters M(on the left) and B(on the right). I believe this stands for Maserati Brothers as there were seven brothers in total. I am curious if this might be worth something? The wood is in good shape only 2-3 tiny chips. It looks like it was used on sailboat.

Ivory Chess Set

Submitted by ellyn58 on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 13:29.

Can someone tell me the worth of ivory?  This set is old (Korean War era).  Does anyone else have a Japanese ivory set?  How should I care for it?  It was given to me by my late Father.
